What therapy services does TRS provide?

TRS provides Vocational, Occupational, Recreational, and Aquatic Therapy services. All therapy services are provided directly by TRS therapists. What type of clientele does TRS provide therapy services to?

TRS provides therapy services to individuals who have sustained injuries from being involved in a motor vehicle accident. We accept children, adolescents, and adults into our program.

Where does TRS provide therapy services? Do you have a facility?

TRS does not own a facility in which therapy services are provided. We provide all therapy services within our client’s homes and communities. Major cities our therapists travel to include Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Saginaw, Flint, Muskegon and Traverse City. However, our therapists will travel to any area within Michigan!

What days and times are therapy services available and what is the frequency of therapy provided?

Our therapy services are typically offered Monday-Friday between 8AM-5PM. Weekend and evening therapy sessions are available upon request and based upon therapist availability. The frequency of therapy treatment is dependent on medical necessity, orders from the client’s doctor and/or the therapist’s professional recommendation.

How are TRS therapy services paid for? What insurances are accepted?

At this time, TRS therapy services are funded solely through the client’s auto insurance or private pay. We cannot accept any other form of payment (health insurance, medicare, etc.).

How does TRS get referrals? How can I make a referral?

The majority of TRS referrals are received through clients’ case managers. Referrals can also be made directly by the client, client’s family member, doctors, and/or attorneys.
